Leading the design - collaborating with 2 Business Managers - of a Kaizen solution and project managing scope, resources, timelines, quality, implementation, testing and customer satisfaction. Additionally was assigned a junior development team to train and mentor on the project.

Successfully produced a concept, design and product which is to save Wesbank R20m in costs and open R200m in business opportunities in a single year - receiving the following recommendation (extracted from a team e-mail):

Project #1: Heading the successful recovery of data - lost due to a hardware failure at the Head Office - as a Consulting Architect. - Maintaining business continuity while transferring the systems to new hardware and training replacement personnel.

Project #2: Led a project to provide a low-cost, secure and effective database solution which additionally enabled multiple branches to continue working even when their DSL connection was down and updating automatically when restored

Project #1: Designing a simplified database system to facilitate importing and managing e-billing (for example, Telkom bills to the value of R4m per month)

Project #2: Heading a project to resolve security issues after an audit found the Wesbank website open to hacking. Project managed the design and development of a more secure architecture and improved existing architecture. Also led all change management, quality and implementation activities
